Schoggifestival 2026 has come to a close — with heartfelt thanks.

Under this year’s theme, “Power and Monopoly: Who owns chocolate?”, we explored the world of chocolate from new perspectives. Despite the chilly weather, more than 1,000 visitors joined us, making the festival a truly special day of flavour, exchange, and inspiration. Together with our exhibitors, contributors, partner organisations, and guests, we created something memorable.

ABOUT THE SCHOGGIFESTIVAL EHRUNDREDLICH

The Schoggifestival ehrundredlich is a unique event featuring a chocolate market, 25 exhibitors, and various events such as panel discussions, workshops, and tastings – all centered around the theme of honest and sustainable chocolate.

The Schoggifestival ehrundredlich, organized by the Good Chocolate Hub, showcases a new generation of cacao and chocolate producers, NGOs, and research institutes, combining enjoyment with responsible action.

What to expect:

Chocolate market, panel discussions, workshops, tastings, children’s program, lectures, readings, chocolate talks, hands-on activities, culinary delicacies, lots of information about cocoa and chocolate, food and drinks, and more.

The Schoggifestival ehrundredlich has a clear vision: We are committed to a fair and sustainable chocolate production. Our goal is to promote an industry based on dignity and respect for all participants in the value chain – from cocoa farmers to chocolate manufacturers to consumers. At the same time, we place great emphasis on protecting the environment and preserving natural resources. We are convinced that responsible production and enjoyment can go hand in hand.

Mission

We at the Chocolate Festival ehrlichlich present a new, mindful generation of cocoa and chocolate production, combining enjoyment with responsible action by:

Telling the stories of the people behind the cocoa, from cocoa farmers to chocolate producers
Offering workshops, lectures, tastings, panel discussions, and other events for children and adults to highlight topics around cocoa and chocolate and present options for action
Hosting a chocolate market where visitors can directly engage with sustainable producers and experience the fine flavors of ethically produced chocolate
