That was the Schoggifestival ehrundredlich 2025! Once again at the beautiful Mühle Tiefenbrunnen cultural area. With 26 exhibitors, the chocolate market presented itself in a variety of ways: from small bean-to-bar manufacturers from Switzerland, Denmark and Ghana to chocolate experts, traders, NGOs and the Mole stand – all united by the goal of producing chocolate and cocoa products honestly, transparently and sustainably.
Around 1,250 visitors immersed themselves in the world of sustainable chocolate creations under the colorful roofs of the market stalls, exchanging knowledge and talking to the people behind the products. More than 20 program items invited visitors to join in and reflect. Tastings, interactive workshops, exciting lectures and readings as well as lively panel discussions ensured that there was something for everyone.
The festival kicked off on Friday evening with the European premiere of “Reclaiming Cocoa” and an inspiring panel discussion with guests from Ghana. On Saturday, our networking day focused on exchange and networking: the chocolate tour to Zurich bean-to-bar manufacturers, a boat trip across Lake Zurich and workshops on current industry topics rounded off the program.
Many thanks to everyone who showed that enjoyment and responsibility can go hand in hand: Enjoyment and responsibility can go hand in hand.we look forward to next year!
And this is what the Schoggifestival 2025 looked like.
